Elizabeth Seeley

Research consultant and instructor in pharmaceutical policy at the Harvard School of Public Health.

Dr. Liz Seeley, PhD is a research consultant and instructor in pharmaceutical policy at the Harvard School of Public Health.  She has more than a decade of research and practical work experience in both domestic health policy and international health policy issues.  Prior to HSPH, she was a project manager and researcher in RTI International’s Health Finance and Reimbursement group, and has previously held posts at the Massachusetts Hospital Association and at the Center for Studying Health System Change.  Dr. Seeley has a PhD from the London School of Economics, where her research work, consulting and occasional teaching focused on pharmaceutical pricing and policy issues.  She also has a Master of Science degree in Health Policy and Management from the Harvard School of Public Health and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Boston College.  She has published in top peer-reviewed journals and has made numerous presentations at international health research and stakeholder conferences.  Research areas of particular interest include pharmaceutical reimbursement and policy, the over the counter pharmaceutical market and health system reforms.
